LifeLine Celebrates Open House
On Thursday, December, 11th, the staff of LifeLine Home Health & Hospice celebrated the completion of their new facility with an open house.  The turnout was wonderful, and the staff enjoyed visiting with patients, their families, friends, and members of our community.  We would like to thank everyone for stopping by and making our open house a memoriable one!



Lifeline Celebrates National Home Care Month
Each November, Lifeline joins the celebration in honoring health care professionals who make remarkable differences in the lives of patients and their families.  We would like to personally take this opportunity to thank our entire staff for their commitment in delivering excellent healthcare in our community. 


On October 23, 2008, the staff of Lifeline Home Health & Hospice met with Mayor Greg Elliott
as he declared November “National Home Care Month, National Hospice Month, and Home Care Aide week.”

Medicare Part D Open Enrollment 11/15/2008

LifeLine Home Health & Hospice continues to offer our "Hope In Healing" Grief Support Group.  The meeting is held at the Glenhaven Assisted Living Center Library.  Glenhaven Assisted Living is located at 404 S. 29th St. Chickasha. 

"Hope In Healing" meets at 2:00 pm on the third Thursday of each month.  The group is facilitated and led by Bro. Jeff Atwell.

LifeLine Home Health & Hospice would like to thank the readers and citizens of Grady County and the surrounding area for the honors LifeLine received from the recent Best of the Best Awards from the Chickasha Express News-Star Newspaper. LifeLine was voted the "Best Place to Work" and "Friendliest Staff". LifeLine Nurse Betty Slaton, LPN was awarded "Best Nurse". LifeLine Physical Therapist Jeff Barr, PTA was voted, "Best Physical Therapist". LifeLine Home Health Aide Pam Gillis, HHA was recognized as "Best Health Care Giver". LifeLine Chaplain Rev. Greg Brooks MSW, was voted "Favorite Pastor". We wish to thank all those who voted for us. It is a continued honor to serve our community here at LifeLine Home Health & Hospice.

LifeLine Hospice is very excited to announce our new fund raising project for 2008-2009. LifeLine Hospice is very active in our community, providing support to organizations such as Relay For Life and Mobile Meals. Additionally, we have a benevolent fund that is used to support special needs of our patients. To provide funding for these endeavors LifeLine Hospice is beginning a fund raising project that will bring enjoyment for generations to come and memorialize the many precious individuals that have touched our lives.

LifeLine Hospice will be creating our first Memorial Cookbook. To accomplish this Memorial Cookbook we need recipes. We need a lot of recipes. Specifically we would like recipes from individuals that have a special meaning. For example, if you have a loved one who recently passed away, but they had a special recipe, we would like to have that recipe and maybe a brief statement about the story or memory behind this recipe. Maybe it was a comfort food that you enjoyed growing up, or a special way that a loved one prepared a unique dish. Some may have had a Father who prepared Chili a certain way, or an Aunt who prepared a dessert in a special manner. Those are recipes that we are seeking. TO SUBMIT YOUR RECIPES ONLINE, CLICK HERE.
